Danny Dunmore hasn't spoken to his father in fifteen years, not since he took eight thousand dollars from the family hardware store and Walt called him a thief in front of everyone. Now the store is closing for good, the week before Thanksgiving, and Danny has come home to help sell off the last of the nails and paint, meaning to be gone before the turkey goes in. But a store that old keeps things, and the green safe in the back office still needs emptying.
